Conch died during her birthing and Myri's visions guided her to an old nag in the hills who cared for her and taught her not to fear her gifts but to hone them. Myri takes her abilities very seriously and was trained to never ever abuse them for personal gain. Therefore she leans her spirit and strength to only those she deems worthy in their pursuits. Myri only knows who Nautilus is through visions of the past that she has during rest. This leads to some tension between the sisters as they both have different ideas about their shared sire.
