I would accept him though it really isn't a 'light' and dark theme. Being 'light' he could either be Southern, or eastern or western. Although him being draft it would be eastern if you wanted him to be not in the war and more neutral.

I can manipulate. I have done pretty much all of the graphics on sight. A lot of my stuff here is a little old but has been fixed slowly but surely as I am trying to work with the time that I have.

If I seem to be rude in my next statement I apologize before hand.
Since he's an obsidian, that means he cannot be light even if he has pure intentions just because he's a dark base? Correct me if I am wrong on that, please. If that is the reason I will change his coloration to a silvery grey.
