Alright so there has been some confusion about alliances. There is no good or bad here on The Pheonixx. It's really just different views on how society should be run. Just like views on how to United States is run, versus say The United Kingdom or Russia. It really is just a different idea.
The south is run with one main leader and a council. The leader is not allowed to make new rules, decisions involving the war, involving anything really without having it go through the council first. The council then will vote on it and from there it will either be approved or denied. They focus on everything being well organized and well planned.
The western and eastern really simply have their leader to protect them. Other then that they are free to go about as they please. They are more relaxed as far as a society goes.
The northerns tend to have a more old style type society. The king has rule over everything and although the council is there they are for little more then extra eyes of the king. They can bring up things they think should be changed or corrected (if they are brave enough) but the king can either choose to take action or ignore it. The council has no say. The northern society is focused around a top military program and army.
