Finally after storming from the royal chambers in a cloud of fury, the red chestnut roan filly came to of what her surrounding were. The mines, the Metal Forge, the place that all the armor her father's soldiers trompt around in. To some day go to war, to some day see them glorify and triumph over those stuck up southerners. Show them what a real horse is and can do than just stick its nose and rear high in the air wofting it around. No! Extasii want to be at the front of the ranks leading the troops crushing them whimpy reasons of equines. But she knew instead she'd be forced to stay at home, taking care of the home while her mate was off to war, she'd be pooping out babies of her own.
Tensing, snorting and tossing her cranium around and thrashing her hooves in the air. Growling in anger at such thoughts. Suddenly bolting from the thick path of stone she jumped to a large island rock pallet that had lava flowing around it's sides. Just enough room for a single horse on it, snorting again, her foggy blue gaze harsh and deadly as if lazers were booming out of them to sizzle away the lava river. No doubt this filly was furious and nothing was to help, she had a temper higher than the boiling point of this firy river flowing past her. Harks pinned back as she paced in a small circle on the platform. Having found this spot months before in her times of anger and wanting to get away from everyone, her hooves traced the exact same spor with each round.
It was an area farther in the lava rivers and pits, it was at the edges of all the metal gathering was, in the more dangerous areas. If any of her family knew she went this deep into the metal mines they'd probably all freak out. Oh well actually her brother may just encourage her to leap in so he didn't have to be her slave anymore. Her hoof beats became harsher and more agressive as the speed of her pacing quickened. Her thoughts ran wild with anger, jealousy, evny, and pure raw hurt.
Extasii could tell her brother was lieing, he didn't love her he hated her, his words were only to make her feel better and stop her crying. She knew it that was the only reason for him to use the word love, otherwise she could tell how much she irritated him and how he only tolerated her for fathers sake. Exy could practically be sure Spartacus would be helping pick a stud by now to take her hand in marriage as a mate. Wanting her gone and out of his hair for good so he could run these lands after their father was gone on his own. Who says she wouldn't make a better queen than he would a king? Who says she couldn't command a fleet of soldiers into battle better than any commander on hand.
Finally the filly stopped in the middle of the stone, glancing quickly so no one was around, not really wanting onlookers as she was very anti-social when it came to real emotion. The chestnut roan gazel sunk to her knees and curled up laying on her side, beginning to cry. She missed her mother dearly wanting her to come back, to hold her close and be there to understand her. Not just yell in a booming voice for every little thing she didn't do perfectly like Hell Born did. She swore he actually didn't love her by the way he acted, as if it'd kill him to show one caring ounce of affection to his own flesh and blood. Exy felt hated by her own family and didn't know how to change it, she'd never give in to being some brutes broodmare and house cleaner. Sighing she rapped up around herself letting the tears roll down her cheeks as the heat of the lava river kept her pelt nice and warm while softening it to.

MORDECAI. he'd been given the basic tour of the place, but he hadn't quite been satisfied by that. he needed to do a more thorough job on his own, and a quick little walk around with a bunch of awed colts around him didn't make it any easier for him to memorize the many twists and turns of the mountain fortress. he couldn't exactly explore the whole place at once so he was taking it in pieces. in the days previous he'd noted every nook and cranny of the quarters of the soldiers, even gotten to know a few of them, and had also seen where the higher-ups were. from what he'd seen so far the other brutes in his rank were just mindless imbeciles who would happily give their life for a king they may have never even met before. pathetic.
after he'd learned those tunnels, mordecai had traveled down into the forge, though he knew this part would take him a whole lot longer. not because it was bigger, though it probably was, but because of the revolting state it was in. ash dirtied every inch and cinders littered the ground, he couldn't touch anything or he'd stain his white hide. the air wasn't too easy to breathe either. there wasn't anything her wanted more than to grab a rag and wipe the place down. well, that was a lie, he didn't want to do it personally, but he wanted it done. now he knew why the tour had only visited the entrance and not taken too long a look inside. it would be a nightmare to work down in this dump. and he'd thought his living quarters had been bad.
still, he had to learn the place. mordecai left nothing to chance, and if one day know the forge could come in handy he would know it by heart. the heat was more intense than in the tunnels he'd previously visited. he could only imagine the torture of standing her for more than a few minutes in the peak of summer. working was just unimaginable. he watched the slow moving rivers of lava flow by, the bright colors shining on his white fur and turning it multiple shades of yellow, red, and orange; like a sunset. his mane and tail were like a darker version, but the colors reflected better in the shiny black hairs.
the occasional bubble of the lava didn't cause much sound, it just made him a bit more wary of splattering molten rock. but it didn't drown out the quiet sobs coming from deeper within the caverns. had a worker finally broken down from the awful conditions he was supposed to spend his days in? mordecai probably would have done the same. he followed the sound and noticed how treacherous it was becoming. it didn't look as if anyone worked back in these parts, it was probably too dangerous. had they come looking for a private place in which they would not be discovered. he wouldn't disturb them, just check it out and move on. he would have had to visit these parts of the forge eventually anyway.
what he came across was not what he'd been expecting at all. a young red filly crouched on an island surrounded by lava stifling soft cries. for a moment he wasn't sure what he should do. if she was just anyone's foal he would have left her to her own doings. he'd only heard descriptions of hellborn's children, but he felt safe to assume that this was indeed the princess extasii, daughter of hellborn and brother to spartacus, only heir to the throne. this filly was too important to ignore, and these parts of the forge weren't really the safest. a few horses knew where he was, they'd seen him enter the area. if there was an accident and he was put at the scene...even if he wasn't accused of a crime he could have prevented it. he could always lie, say he hadn't seen the princess, but hellborn had an uncanny knowledge of everything that went on inside his domain.
snorting the, white brute approached the crying filly. "this isn't really the place for a young filly to be playing." he said in a slightly authoritative voice. he couldn't be too harsh, she was crying after all. about what he had no idea and didn't really care to find out. he just didn't want to get caught in an uncomfortable situation. he'd see the girl safely off and be on his way. mordecai wasn't too good with kids.

The small bubbling pops of lava echoed in her harks lulling her to relax the filly, so calming and soothing after visiting the depth of the forge numerous times before. The one place as a refuge away from everyone with no questions asks. Worker rarely bothered her or took notice as most of the time she would sneak her way past everyone. It was her treehouse to climb to when all else failed to comfort her, though not even her father cared to come into the burning belly of the lava pits often enough to even imagen where she'd hide. Sure enough though before returning to the Royal quarters she bathed in scents and aromas to wash away and cover the stench of the place. That would give it away right there if she wasn't so careful about it.
As the heat of the firey river helped relaxed the chestnut roan filly, her sobs became quieter and less. The flowing molten lava helped her mind flow free and blank of any thoughts to upset her. It was peiceful to her, not like most fillies taking splendor in lush thickets or meadows full of fluffy bunnies and butterflies, she greatly preffered the pelt sweating, unbarable stench, the danger risk and unimagenable heat of the forge. Something different and unexpected, one would barely imagen a filly in the abyss of such a place. It was a rather comforting thought to the princess, it could come in handy in later times. In an instant harks pricked at the echo of hoof falls, almost over ridden by the strong flow of lava, the echo became louder.
Tear streams now were dry on her red face, the sudden authorative lyrics made her think instantly of Hell Born, her father. But the tone of it wasn't right, she let go her sudden intake of air at the thought of it being her father slipped away realizing it was only a dumb brute under the king's commande. Gritting her teeth and pinning her twin towers against her neck, she raise her crown into the air glancing over to the white stag as she stood. Turning around to face him from her issolated isle, whipcord lashing her own flanks quick and short in irritation.
Extasii's royal visage raised high and proud as nares flared and brows were creased glaring at the stud for imposing on her time alone. Who did he think he was to just barge in here, was he scent by Hell Born to search for her? Did someone actually think to find her here? Or had they spied on her sending report to her Father of her wereabouts? That'd be horrible she would have no place to go without his prying eye scowling her the entire time. Snorting and shaking her crown, "How dare a pesent bother me. If you were any smarter you'd see there was no play or game here!" She snapped aggressively growling at the white stallion.
"Who sent you? The pathetic head guards? The heartless leader you bow to kiss his hooves? The full of himself boy that's to rule when his time comes?"
|
[/color]Her lyrics spitting this out in a wicker loud, defiant, angered and harsh, expressing on the moment repies of the head guards, the King Hell Born and her brother Spartacus. Sure it was one of the trio that had beckoned she be retrieved for more scowleding of some sorts. Staying put on her island yet lashing out at the end of her words against the heated rock platform. Her harsh glare giving no signs of relenting to lighten up as she stared the pure brute down that had black mane and tail to accent himself. The filly could tell he was new by how clean his pelt was and how naive he was to go so deep in the forge. As well he was a different sight on the grey blue specticals to handle and take in. ”Speeeeech!”Featuring;; Extasii ll chestnut roan ll newborn ll 17.2 hh llgorg x optimr x qatar ll Sniff/Siren's Song/Telekinetic ll bluish grey eyes ll Born here, Yr 1, 6months old ll Northern Character Log;; click! she certainly knew she was royal, it practically emanated off her in waves from the way she carried herself. it was obvious what was going to spout from her mouth, she wasn't happy in the slightest. goodness children were stubborn, just because he told her "no", or a suggestive for of it. he'd never actually said that she couldn't play there, just that she shouldn't. very big difference there. but, obviously he'd interrupted her during a very fragile emotional state, and mixed with her young age he probably walked right into that one.
he wasn't surprised at the string of insults that spewed from her chestnut lips. a mere child, calling him a peasant? and of course she had to poke at his intelligence, that was always fun. it was almost enough to make him smirk, but of course that wouldn't help the situation. so he just waited for her to run out of steam, keeping his quicksilver gaze cool and even with her burning blue one. what did surprise him was when her venom tongue turned on the guards and even her own family. he'd never assume that this filly, princess of a kingdom and daughter to probably one of the most powerful horses in the land, could hold any bitter feelings about the family she'd been gifted. he supposed every family had their faults, though.
his eyes narrowed slightly, but other than that the white stag showed very little emotion. he let her words echo and die in the chamber, allowing the quiet to hang in the air for a moment before replying. "no one sent me. i came here of my own free will, if you can believe that." mordecai could hardly believe it himself. he was very much regretting this trip down into the darkest depths of the mountain on the chance he wouldn't be regretting it sometime in the future. "i was simply...concerned for your safety." was that believable? perhaps not to those that knew him, the real him, which was no one actually. to anyone who thought they knew him, maybe. to those who didn't know him at all? well, it depended on how they judged him.
he managed to stay calm despite her flak, very good flak actually. her tongue was well sharpened, he was obviously not the first of her victims. she'd probably been abusing every resident of the mountain since the day she could talk. he pitied the horses that were forced to look after her. she understood her position of royalty a bit too well. it had spoiled her, she was used to getting everything she wanted, ordering around maids and guards. she was a well-rounded brat. she was upset at her family for some reason, and it was probably because one of them, maybe both, had denied her something she desired.
"you seem upset at your father and brother. what for if you don't mind me asking?" though it nearly killed him, it would be wise to be polite and keep her temper down. if he could get her into a rant then perhaps he could get a small view inside the life of this royal family.

Attempts to bring reason for his ill choices of coming so deep into the belly of the forge, to Extasii all she could tell were lies seeping from the brute's every words. Snorting with soldiers pinned back flat, a back limb stomping and abusing the foundation she stood upon as her gaze became harsher and harsher with every word muttered. ”You groveling dog, lieing to appease me! No one knows I'm here, you can't possibly say you are concerned for me. You were sent and I know IT!” The lyrics forced between gritted teeth that grinded together, nashing with every word till she spit the last few tossing her crown as she partially reared. Forcing her weight quicker to the ground than with just the help of gravity her hooves scraping the warm rock echoed in the cave like area. ”I'll have your snake tongue cut from your mouth if you try to decieve me again!” Snapping her teeth in the air aggressively in his direction, if it weren't for the lava river seperating them. Her ivories would have been aiming to sink into the white flesh of the buck. Now the ebony mane bloke was asking the red fae of her family, didn't everyone know who they were? Was that not an explination in its self? How dim-witted was this guy? A royal from any kingdom had as much family issues as the average Joe and Jane, hell their mother and half-brother were gone. Left without no reason as to why. ”A mutt should keep out of another's business. My own family doesn't give a damn so why should one of their dog's? Now leave me!!” The red roan filly roared her words as she backed up a few steps, having mastered what it took to jump the gap. With a several powerful volts of her pistons, the young vixen was sailing through the air in a short bits time already landing on the other edge. Hooves slightly steaming from the scortching river they'd just flown over, squealing in the brutes face she reared lashing out at him with her daggers. Ivories bared prepared to snap out if retaliation was attempted, Extasii wanted the brute gone from sight this very instant. ”Speeeeech!” Featuring;; Extasii ll chestnut roan ll newborn ll 17.2 hh llgorg x optimr x qatar ll Sniff/Siren's Song/Telekinetic ll bluish grey eyes ll Born here, Yr 1, 6months old ll Northern Character Log;; click! this stubborn brat just wouldn't listen to reason. it was as if she was determined to make the whole world against her just by assuming it was. well, this was certainly a quick way to make enemies. he was liking her less and less by the moment. weren't princesses supposed to be well-mannered and polite? well, he supposed growing up in the north that wasn't the goal. it was all about survival of the fittest, wasn't it.
"listen to yourself. if no one knows you're here then how could i have been sent? it's simply coincidence. honestly." she was just frustrating. no wonder she had daddy issues, daddy probably had daughter issues. god forbid mordecai should ever sire a daughter, if he should sire any children at all. ugh, kids just weren't his strong point. "threats will get you no where with me, brat." oops, that wasn't going to help him any. now if she went crying to daddy his whole plan was ruined. it had just slipped out, and though he would probably regret it painfully later, for the moment it was worth it.
"if you don't want anyone to know your business then you should stop complaining about it." mordecai snorted at the bothersome filly in annoyance. of course it was total disregard on her father's part, he should have taken more care with his daughter's upbringing. if he expected to marry her off to some unsuspecting brute then he better be a dumb one. he doubted any stallion would take this little brat as a mate, not willingly anyway. mordecai certainly couldn't imagine it.
mutt, dog, peasant, he was tired of her insults. if he had any sense mordecai probably would have left right there and then. maybe it was the heat getting to his head. well, he wouldn't leave, but he'd give her the next best thing. she leaped the chasm between them and lashed out. mordecai took a single step back, out of harm's way, and then he was gone. of course, he was actually there. a mere foot or two from the young filly. she couldn't see him, though. in an instant he had simply vanished from her view. "happy now? i gave you what you wanted." it was all and illusion, his special power, and he was quite good at it too. the large room-like cave did well to echo his voice. maybe she'd have a harder time pin-pointing the source even though he was directly in front of her. it would just add more to the illusion.

Not all young bitches understood they were just property to be traded when they became of breeding age, oh no most let it happen in pure blind naiveness, perfectly fine being some brutes doll to play with. The very thought heated Extasii's blood and was the very basis of why she was so irritated, it seemed as though there was no respect for the female gender in any regard. Just used for stupid males to keep reproducing more stupid males. She just sheerly wouldn't have it, or at least willingly. Snorting, her curvature tense and bulging with strained muscles as nares flared, the stag disgusting musk filled her nostrals. It was almost gagging to be so close to him and with her powers just beginning there wasn't much control. Power of sniff was the first to be present and boy did it bring up the most revolting of aromas to smell, bile often was present at the back of her tongue latey. Thrashing her hoof against the lava warmed stone path she snapped her teeth at the air after she has returned to all fours. ”The only thing I'm complaining about is your revolting stench Mister Prissy-White-Ass. I truly can't believe my father lets lowlifes like you live in the North!” Temper was lost and blown she was bluttering anything and everything to piss the stallion off. Right in his face blasting her words, insults anything to let her own anger and rage out on the brute, she wanted revenge almost for him insulting her. Then suddenly he disappeared from sight, yet his irritable voice gave way he was still present, all the more to keep her temper on fire. Not the greatest thing to do of playing games with her. Exy gave a bit of a growl one could say, ”You don't fool me that easy!” And so forward she lurched lashing her front daggers out again, not knowing if he was still there. Only going with the fact of where his scent came from the strongest direction she aimed to lash out at. ”Speeeeech!” Featuring;; Extasii ll chestnut roan ll newborn ll 17.2 hh llgorg x optimr x qatar ll Sniff/Siren's Song/Telekinetic ll bluish grey eyes ll Born here, Yr 1, 6months old ll Northern Character Log;; click! dammit, why did every single damn horse in this damn mountain think he was damn prissy?! well, the resons were kind of obvious, but still, mordecai was getting tired with all these assumptions. seriously, just because he wasn't big and buff and less refined didn't mean he was some spineless wimp. it was tiring honestly, having to prove himself to all of them. but did he seriously smell? no, she had to be lying, there was no way...he had perfect hygiene dammit! he couldn't smell, he would have noticed. if only they had some kind of scented soap around here so he didn't just have to use water to wash everything. despite how much he scrubbed he could not get the musty moldy smell out of his room. the hot springs did smell a little odd, probably from the minerals in the water. could that be what she was talking about? but wait, every horse bathed there so it should be anything new. damn this brat, he did not stink, it was impossible!
he felt like screaming at her, but mordy knew that would get him nowhere with this one. just as she could not use fear to get others to do as she wished he couldn't spin that around and use it on her. threats and insults would just make the both of them angrier and that was like moving backwards. "your father lets a lot of lowlifes live in the north." he snorted. just from the few days of training he already had he could see that kludd was smart compared to all the others. all those colts knew was fighting, killing, and following orders. they didn't think for themselves. either they'd been brainwashed or were simply plain stupid. extasii wasn't stupid either if she'd already realized most of this.
though he'd disappearaed right before her eyes, where most horses might have been scared, shocked or utterly speechless, extasii didn't miss a single step. she lunged for him again and again, and because she didn't quite know where to aim he didn't have many problems dodging her strikes. he did have the advantage of speed, though she was the one moving forward and him backward. he was on the defensive and, when in a tight space like this with bubbling lava feet from his hooves it was a bit tough to maneuver. "you are a fool if you always let blind rage take control of you. the use of self control could easily get you the things you want if used correctly." she certainly wasn't stupid, age would explain for her ignorance. that temper probably didn't give her much time to think before acting. there was probably zero thinking going on even, her rage led all her actions.
